Has anyone had any issues traveling from PA to NJ or vice versa with the virus restrictions? Is there any kind of enforcement or is isolation supposed to be voluntary?

There is no enforcement at all. I know several people who live in Pa and work in NJ that have no choice but to cross over. I never understood how staying in one state helps anyway

I think that restriction was lifted long ago. Don't see the big orange signs at the bridge anymore.

Did they ? I thought the CDC had no control over the state's decision to control their own borders so to speak

When you cross the river from PA to NJ you need to provide a covid test at the checkpoint. Be polite as the marine and guard troops there are not keen on jokes. Seriously, there are no travel restrictions dude, there have never been tanks in the streets asking for papers. All restrictions were strictly recommended.
