NOW is the time that we as mongers, reviewers, and participants on this forum must change the way we state things in reviews but more importantly in comments. It may not help in protecting the beloved women who take care of us but it certainly will not hurt.
Our actions and statements will inevitably be the demise of our hobby.
Waterboy out.

I see it as a RESPECT issue. Have respect for the providers, have respect for the spa owners, have respect for your fellow members.
I pointed out 3 or 4 explicit attention grabbing titles just yesterday that should not have been posted. But some members have zero respect for the women who help up and bring happiness to our lives.
So I with you WB will continue to advocate for discreetness and respect.
Do we want to know if you had a good visit ,yes. Do we need a play by play or do we need to know that you "Blew it in thebag", definitely not!!!

On SpaHunters, discretion was the unspoken and almost universally agreed upon order of the day. Most of us voluntarily followed that path. Reviews conveyed the important parts of a session without being overly graphic. Leave something to the imagination. That's part of the fun. Let your imagination run wild! To the contrary, many of the reviews and comments on this site leave nothing to the imagination. SpaHunters was the east coast establishment, this site is the wild west!

I just turned 66, so maybe some this is generational. Back in the day, "gentlemen" did not go into graphic detail about their sexual activities. Personally, I never felt comfortable being around those guys who felt the need to regale others with their exploits. We had a saying back in high school - the guys who talked about all they were "getting", were probably not getting much.

Respectfully, the problem was there on SH too. Up by me three years ago, police raided and closed 5 spas. They got permission to do a spy mission on these spas by going to a judge with copies of reviews from SH and rubmaps. They harassed men coming and going, and actually followed the owner from Mass to Flushing. They ended up arresting the owner for transportation across a state line to commit a crime, while never proving a real crime happened. End result is none of this went to trial, my girls had everything they owned “stolen” by the cops, and 5 good spas are closed. It’s inhuman, what the cops did. Took every penny, every electronic device, all credit/debit cards. Gave them their passports and licenses and stuck them on a bus to flushing. All because some dickhead said he fucked the girls (probably not true).

I think it ridiculous that anyone posts graphic or obviously implied comments on this site. Don’t you understand that anyone can access this content, you don’t even have to log in to see it. So the local TV stations/newspapers who need to do an expose or the nosy busy body with an ax to grind can all see the blatantly obvious/graphic content by just doing a search on a spa and finding this website.

This site needs more privacy. At least make someone become a member and log in before they can see the comments. And put strict rules in place about how and what is to be discussed in open. I agree no reply button to reviews where much of dumbass stuff gets said.

Be Aware

So as to not bring too much attention to any particular spa's reputation, I will leave the spa's name unsaid. Here in Philly LE is actively checking things out and paid a visit to a spa on Thursday. Some kind of undercover investigation. The result this time was a short disruption to business as usual, but it could have been worse.

The OP became aware of this which most likely prompted his concern and post. I have taken some heat from time to time by being an advocate for discretion and privacy. The members here come from different review sites, some from SH where reviews were vanilla and some from sites like TER where reviews were much spicer. So we are a mixture of two different cultures.

I think it would be of benefit to error on the side of minimizing the heat of the overly descriptive review and use the private forums almost exclusively for discussions. In fact the private messages can be used to find out a particlar detail, if you must, from a reviewer.

In fact I avoid the overly reviewed providers sometimes because I like, at least, some surprise to a first encounter.

So I concur with the posts above, please be more careful. Me too, I have let a cat out of the bag sometimes, so we can all do better.

Happy Weekend

Yeah, Baby Boomer. There was a time when were were pilloried by older adults for rutting in the mud at places like Woodstock. And all that unprotected sex during the 70's.
I gain nothing by bragging at the age of 60. I'm grateful to have the means and ability to get it up. And I like to keep my most intimate activities to myself. However, I was asked politely by one agency to do a writeup for a lovely lady that I met---she wasn't getting much business. I did a tasteful travelogue, kept it positive.

This is not a hobby for me. I garden, read books. Baby Boomer type hobbies. It's a passion that fills the unmet need that I don't get at home. But I'm not above hanging out on these boards--there's a kinship here about our subculture.

If I tell a story on the forums I leave the names out, except occasionally I’ll add in the name of a defunct spa.

I forget the exact circumstances, but do you remember on SH, where someone listed the name of a provider, her address, her phone number, and what sexual services she supplied, right on the main chat? That’s terrible. It’s hanging a target on her head.

There was an FS spa girl in RI, who quit and relocated, because she was getting too much attention in reviews, mostly on SH. Guys were saying she provided great service, including Greek (not really true) and everyone was coming in and asking for her, then complaining when she wouldn’t do it.

I stopped posting tip amounts in reviews long ago, because I felt it was easy clue for the cops. There really is no need to discuss tips about a specific visit, standard tip rates don’t change or vary much.

Yes when a service is posted or even pn'd some customers push for the extra service. The girl should be able to offer what ever service she wants provide to a particular customer freely with no preasure. That's her right.

Plus her management diesn't need to know either as long she follows their general guidelines. Any slightly upgraded service is so she can create a steady clientele of predered gentlemen.

Thank you for not posting tip amounts. I am not interested in what someone else pays and I despise questions about damage.

Absolutely correct. This is another reason details should be left out. They create an expectation which may or may not be met for a multitude of reasons.

I’ve said before and I’ll say it again. All I need is a general description of the provider, her attitude, and a name and a yes or no recommendation and I’ll figure the rest out.

The pathetic thing about some of these reviews is they don’t have a name or the name they give is wrong. They have all kinds of graphic details but a wrong name.

I agree with you on all you say. But I’ll add, I like a description of the spa. Is there a TS?a sauna? Is there a back entrance? What’s the entry procedure? (I’ve been stuck outside a locked door in busy strip malls having to call to get inside). And the kind of description useful to help a first time visitor, pretend he’s been there before.
But I agree, their description of the services they get, or tips they give are worthless to me. And there’s alot of lies in there anyway. Let me know this stuff, and if the girls are pretty and friendly. I’ll take it from there.

Hmm I understand the concerns but there are also other sites who that openly discuss services so I'm not sure if even our best efforts will prevent LE from finding the information online. But I agree at the very least we should do some basic privacy like Preventing non-members from seeing our forum. Kind of ridiculous that our reviews come up on google searches.
