Ever get kinda turned off by the music some of these places play during massages? I go to Jiankang frequently but their music is honestly more sad than relaxing.

Any other places nearby have music that puts you out of the mood?

There was a place in Jersey I visited a couple years ago that had hard metal playing. That style of music actually makes me feel angry - far from relaxing. They wouldn't change it, so I left.

Going to these places I expect some type of the standard message music, from any culture is fine. I personally don't like anything with words - unless its some of the Chinese soft singing. Rap/metal would be hard no from me. I've been in places that think they need to cater to Americans by play what we listen to. I hear it all the time don't want to hear it in there. Country? NO.

Not gonna lie. After a swing and a miss at cuties, I went to 9VIP for redemption and ended up singing and dancing to Bubbly by Colbie Cailat with this sweet lady. She couldn’t speak a lick of English and had absolutely no body(not my type). but we had a great time and the music helped. I’d be surprised if anyone didn’t hear me in the hallways.

Yes, in some places the choice of music is terrible and may kill the mood.
