I don't care for Trump at all but this one is fake news. She sold the spa in 2014, I believe. She and her family MAY very well be involved in similar operations elsewhere but this one was a reach. It was a selfie and there's no indication that they have any kind of acquaintance beyond that.

No indication in the article but I'd bet there is.

This forum isn't the ideal place to have a thoughtful discussion. I'll say this and leave it alone after that:
He's a racist sack of shit with no business acumen and without a single regard for anyone other than himself and his first daughter. He has cash but it isn't his, and no one in the NY club considers him any part of the elite. Doubt me? He could never join/start a family office. The guy is a joke and his biggest accomplishment will be serving as a history lesson for future generations worldwide

I just find a couple things funny here, and I am not a political guy by any means....

He was never accused of racism until entering politics.
No business acumen, yet he won the presidential election using business marketing strategies 101.
I am pretty sure he actually has very little cash, but massive cash flowing assets that are, in fact, his in one form or another.
If his biggest accomplishment at the end of the day will be a history lesson, I'd suggest future generations leave the emotions and feelings at home and pay attention.

Whether you like him or not, he wins more then he loses, authored on of the biggest underdog victories ever, has outperformed expectations on most fronts, and is willing to have some difficult conversations that others won't in fear of offending people. As a matter a fact, if he thought out his words a bit more, and turned off his twitter account, there isn't much to ACTUALLY complain about, unless people are LOOKING for something to complain about. But I am not really worried about political correctness, so there's that....

The history lesson is that Trump really does care about the people! If he didn"t then the America subversives would love him!

Look back what Trump has said! Then see what he says today!

You may not always like what he says ! He is for the people! It's refreshing!

Unlike any President before!

I'll take the bait. Again, not the best forum to discuss this, but hey it's a rainy Friday evening - what else is there to do?

He was seen as a racist for quite some time. Before the birther claim (and non apology), before his comment on Native Americans shouldn't have casinos in their reservations because they don't look Indian enough to him (oh the irony of who should own a casino), before Central Park Five article...he's always been a racist. Prior to politics no one took him seriously, so it'd be like calling Mel Gibson a racist - everyone knows but not important enough to discuss everyday. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/donald-trump-racist-meme/ Snopes literally debunked the very claim you put there.

No business acumen because he survived on not paying vendors, filing bankruptcy (multiple times), defaulting on loans because the businesses didn't generate enough income and because he was concerned with pillaging the monies rather than trying to have the business succeed. (http://fortune.com/2016/03/10/trump-hotel-casinos-pay-failure/)... He has no business acumen because even his current businesses are failing (https://www.apnews.com/446759bb4f63478bb6b37c6427980421). Has he had success in the past? Sure...but by even the weakest standards he is not a successful businessman.

He has massive cash flowing assets? Do you mean by having lobbyists and executives stay at his hotel? Do you mean flying S.S. to his resorts every week to keep it afloat? If so, then sure....but call it what it is...it's sleazy and borderline corrupt. In a sick way, I'm happy he won though. There are a lot of cracks in the system that he exploited. The next couple generations will spend their years fixing it to ensure it isn't repeated.

You make fair points. But here.
I don't think there is a racist point to a lot of this. It is drawing lines in the sand, which is important. The casino issue was a great threat to a heavily invested venture.
Recently, he has over a 25% success rate in profitable operations. That is a very impressive number overall. Higher then any individual I am aware of except for a select few, and it's important to note that in many of those failures, he is simply licensing out his name for branding and marketing purposes with very little activity in the day to day operations.
And yes, cash flowing assets. Buildings. Leveraged debt on real estate that is reinvested. Licensing. Royalties. This all amounts to cash flow.

Here are some articles supporting the claims. Unfortunately, on the internet, you can find whatever you are looking for, really, good or bad. It's all about perspective. I'll note the third article. I think a gross misstatement there is that he is a great salesman, which is different then being a great businessman. That is simply not true. Learning and using the sales process is absolutely the most effective way to generate success, in business, relationships, and just about any interaction we can have out and there. And the reality is, there is no such thing as negative or positive attention. Attention is just that. Attention. When it came to winning this election, he simply garnered more attention then anybody else, by any means necessary, noted who and where he was able to connect with the audience, and then focused ALL efforts there and disregarded the audiences that he would have had to convince. That, is sales and business in it's simplest form.

I considered him a racist, a hypocrite, corrupt, rapey and unknowledgeable prior to the election. After the election I've only reaffirmed those beliefs based on what I've seen him do and heard him say. You're not going to convince me otherwise. I imagine the same goes for you. And I won't try to convince you. Time will reveal all that has to be revealed when it comes to him.

I am in agreement there. I am not out to change any opinions. I am open to having my mind changed if I see the appropriate evidence.

I do typically shut people down who have simply drawn the conclusion because they suddenly took an interest in politics since he came in to office, or believe the media tells us the truth more then 8% of the time. Lol. But I have no horse in the race, especially when somebody drew that opinion before all that.

I am pretty sure we can agree too, that its a little ridiculous how emotional people get on the subject. Some react like you spoke bad about their first child when he gets disrespected. And by comparison, some act as like he abused them as a child the way they hate him. Both sides, in those cases, are wrong.

Site Administration should, in my opinion, prohibit political talk on this massage parlor site.
We are criticizing/judging politicians, all the while we indulge in illegal activities, what a freaking joke, lol, we’re all entitled to our opinions and political affiliation, but this isn’t the place for it.

You're probably right. But it's a nice change from having to explain to some guy if he wants Greek to check Oikos in Stop and Shop

Well get back on topic. Why was Donnie Boy hanging with the owner/ former owner/ financier of several spas in the Florida area that has started an uproar and bad circumstances for our hobby. She has been to his New Year Eve parties, his Super Bowl party. She has sold influence to high ranking officials in the Chinese Government. And you know what the spas we visit and the women who we like are bearing the brunt of the same government wrath. Hypocrisy to say the least.
