Defining morally questionable acts as “human trafficking “ has built a big business for LE and NGO groups to siphon money from the public teat. No elected official will dare argue against fighting human trafficking, even if it is a faulty premise.

The true shame of the exploding “stop human trafficking” business is that they should be looking at restaurants, sweat shop factories, farms, and construction firms. That’s where the real slavery is happening. But they will bust a couple of little old Asian ladies trying to survive because that is the path of least resistance. Plus, everyone still wants cheap lettuce.

Agree. What's also gotten bad in this is that these private groups have successfully created a new definition for trafficking. Their definition is anyone who provides sex for money.

Here is an excerpt from an article about how they have made a mega-business out of fighting prostitution and calling it “anti-human trafficking “

From siliconangle.com:

Since human trafficking today has become a $150-billion major enterprise, why not fight one big business with another?
This is the strategy that the nonprofit Polaris Projecthas put in place to combat human trafficking by serving victims with a national hotline, a massive data set, and enlisting the support of large corporations to be on the alert for situations that just don’t look quite right.
“A group of small nonprofits and cops are not going to solve it on their own,” said Brad Myles (pictured), executive director and chief executive officer of Polaris Project. “Big businesses have the resources; they have the brand; they have the customer base; they have the scale. We need big businesses to enter the fight.”

Bradley Myles has turned this effort into a six-figure annual salary.

If someone can figure out how to get six figures by teaching women the value of sex in marriage, the demand would be reduced by at least 40% immediately. I am not holding my breath waiting for it.
And rightly so. Wouldn't matter how well the wife can perform, it doesn't do anything for variety. And may not do anything for frequency either. Better to spend the money legalizing P-4-P and allow for choices other than the wife.

The arrested sex workers can end up getting lifetime criminal records. I'd be interested to know where Polaris and other groups stand on that. If they want women out of sex work, then they need to stop giving them criminal records that can prevent gainful employment elsewhere.

I like variety but I could get by without it to avoid sticking my neck out. I understand that some guys can't do that. My problem now is that even if I started getting something at home, I couldn't quit hobbying. I would miss my atf too much.

And herein lies the problem. They define it and the refine their definition all to serve their needs which is an increase in revenue.

In Florida, one county put out information to voters that they had made 1,000 trafficking arrests last year.

A review looked at the charges and outcomes. Only 1 arrest of the 1,000 involved trafficking.

If Polaris Project with its millions wants to really do something to help victims, it should start with this guy.

"No, that's not me with her, my fingers are not that stubby!" :D

Lol.

Hard to choose the party behind Epstein’s “suicide” - Clinton, Trump, or the Royal Family. Just goes to show that the little dog that runs with the big dogs is eventually going to get bitten.

Back in the old days, I used to do some PR work, and I can say that his interview was a PR disaster. Stubby fingers and then the fact that he does not sweat. And then that he was at a pizza place. Okay, got it.

Just poorly handled and he also showed zero sympathy to the victims. The tragedy was not what happened to these women but that he let himself get caught up in it. These royals are so stupid from centuries of inbreeding that they still think the world revolves around them.

Besides the inbreeding, the royals are not used to explaining themselves to anyone, unlike us mongers. Especially the married ones. Makes me laugh when I see them with their noses up in the air. They live a lie but it took us to turn it into an artform.

Agree. And he could not explain that picture. As a royal, does not hug. When that did not work, well, that location is on the second floor and I never was on the second floor.....
