I was never one for making an appt. and would always be a “walk-in”. But with the pandemic and so many of you complaining of “walk-ins”, I’ve changed.

2 issues:

1. Calling to set up an appt. still interrupts. It’s no different from being interrupted by a walk-in.
2. So, I called a place to make an appt. I show up on time. I was asked if I called and what my name was. Then I was told to wait! I later find out that the other guy walked in, was asked if he called and if his name was “X”. He said, “yes.” HE LIED! One of you unscrupulous bastards STOLE my appt. …not cool, man.

Yeah, not cool. And it also works in reverse. You arrive having made an appointment with "Mary" and "Jane" answers door. "Jane" says, "You have appointment?". You say yes, with "Mary". "Jane" replies, "I am Mary". If you've never met "Mary", you don't know any better. They steal appointments from each other whenever they can. No honor among thieves.

This has happened to me a couple times, even just a few weeks ago. It's pretty obnoxious, but it gave me an opportunity to go somewhere else where I believe I had a much better experience than I would have at the place that gave my appointment away.

Even if you know the one you want to see and have seen her many times, the other one may answer the door, drag you to the room and tell you the one you made an appointment with is not here, she’s busy or it’s her turn. They are constantly trying to steal appointments.

It’s always good to have a back up plan.

Stole my appt. I mean really, you going to complain about that. Keep it in perspective man. There's people living in Africa walking 6 miles each way to get drinking water for the day. Sheeeeeeeesh.

This is a forum for discussing our AMP experiences. Stolen appointments are just one of the many things complained about.
