The same things that all "girls" like are welcomed gifts. For small things, I try to keep them related to our conversations.
Sometimes I cook a food that she said she likes and bring it to share with all at the spa. This takes coordination with the Emo/MMS to allow it. That's why being friends with them pays off. I came in on Christmas Eve, with some partially cooked food and finished it at the spa. Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo with garlic bread.
Of course this is only a parial list of suggestions. And spending huge money is not necessary.
For more special gifts (birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day) some Victoria Secrets' apparel is always a hit. I keep it to the more practical side, not sexy things. They live warm and snuggly bed cloths and throw blankets.

Funny thing, my current Korean favorite said to me last time, "I'm really tired of kimchi and rice, I like American food too". So yesterday I brought everyone at the spa a good old American bar food lunch; cheeses steaks, a turkey sub, two kinds of chicken wings, chips and cupcakes. They plowed through it all, very little Korean spoken for a half hour. Oh, I actually really like my Korean lunches at the spas too, but mostly because it's different than my usual diet.
