It just struck me as clever and humorous. If you look at the “Y” on the end it has a little triangle inserting itself into the opening of the Y. A little “tongue-in-cheek”.

It was a drug testing place for sure. I took my kid to it every week decades ago. The sign looked new to me, but no matter what, it really fits lol.
It’s the same sign. They just removed the words “substance abuse screening” from it. There’s still some old pictures of it on google images. I went yesterday and laughed when I saw the sign after seeing this post, I definitely see how it looks like it could have been on purpose.

Love that location. It is in an out of the way part of town that won't get any unwanted attention from the "church lady" crowd. I am sure the neighbors would rather have this version of Sasy rather than a drug rehab place. The area is an industrial neighborhood. In this age of cell phone GPS, it makes more sense to have a place like this rather than having to endure the "walk of shame" in a store front in a busy shopping center. Heck even a big rig truck can park behind Sasy easily without drawing any unwanted attention.

It continues to amaze me how people think this is an ‘out of the way’ place. Exactly one block away at 12th and Sumner Ave. is a district magistrate office where police officers in different kinds of law-enforcement personnel come and go multiple times on a daily basis and there is a district magistrate judge working there.

I’m also amazed at how people think the police are so naive and they don’t know what is going on at locations such as this, Chun, VIP, T Spa and such in the city limits.

Thank you for saying this. It’s true not only in Allentown but everywhere these places operate. Either L.E. Is turning a blind-eye, or they or some officials are getting theirs “on the cuff“

More than likely LE will leave this place alone as long as they don't get any complaints about it. Just make sure your SO doesn't follow you one day to see where you are going, hahaha.
