So after less than a week on SA, it's been interesting. Had one successful meetup. Two more in the hopper. I must say that the thrill of the chase is kinda half the fun. At least for me. Some may not like chatting. It makes you feel like you earned it in some way despite the monetary aspect. I guess just my mind wrapping itself around what's going on.
It definitely is more involved and overall expensive then just an amp, but like I said I can see the draw at times.
I was curious, what has been other's experience with 30 and overs. I've run into some entitled people and they've all been older. I can see now why others have suggested to stay in the 20 range. Are they all like that? One flipped out on me cause I gave her a low initial offer. I told her well I may have been ok with the 1500 or whatever you're looking for but you just ruined that chance.
I do also kick myself on losing 20 bucks on a "deposit" despite everyone's rules. I thought I had vetted a bit in that I talked it down from 100. But then the day before they asked for another 25 for a dog sitter. Haha. Lesson learned and reiterate others rules, never prepay.
