Yeah, I have no problem paying the VIP fee if it is really "VIP". But I am getting the impression that $1.6 just isn't looked at favorably anymore even for standard service (no slide, cbj, cfs). In there defense, it has been $1.6 for as long as I can remember (15+ years) and things simply don't cost what they did 15 years ago so I get it. Even moderate inflation has a noticeable effect over a 15 year timeframe. But you can't charge for VIP and delivery standard, there has to be some differentiation in price.

Well....I did have a few drinks at my buddies bar down the street and it was late. But yes, oh well.....even lebron misses a shot once in a while.

I had a similar experience many years ago. If I know a lady offers extras for an extra tip or VIP level service. Well I left the extra tip with the money I left on the table BUT I didn't specifically tell her this is for the extra service. I kind of complained about it to her afterwards and she said sorry I didn't count the money. She said next time.

After that I make sure to specifically to count the base fee out and then count the extra tip and ask "Okay for VIP?". Once a lady told me "I No VIP" which was cool.
