If you google “Benjamin slang” comes right up. Just have to do a little work when you don’t understand something that’s easily available.
the point is, that should not be necessary, the review should be clear. there is a reason why it is kept for private access, so that slang and hints are unnecessary. why should everyone have to Google slang terms all of the time. just be a good sport and give full information.

I’m not completely disagreeing with you but my sense is 99.9% of folks on here know what a Benjamin is. A lot of reviews or posts contain some sort of slang.

thought you didn’t know what a benj was??? Weird.
I had to look it up, obviously.
the fact is, two of us quickly pointed out that the cost was not clear in the review. instead of complaining, why do you not just follow the site rules and make the reviews clear and concise. it is not just the cost that was not clear, but other slang terms made no sense either, it would take forever to spend the time looking everything up. and instead of being a jingoistic sod, and expecting everyone to automatically understand your unique slangwithout question, just be bloody polite and answer a simple question when someone asks you. really is not that bloody difficult you wazzuck.
honestly, sometimes you lot can be a complete load of cockwombles for bugger all reason.

Keep it civil, gentlemen.

And as a general rule, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. @honynic07 - not sure if there's a similar Brit saying but it's pretty self-explanatory. In other words, please practice decorum, politeness, and respect to your fellow members, and they will reciprocate...and that applies to ALL members.

Perhaps a better way to ask the OP for his generally well-written review would be...hey, thanks for the review! But question...was the benji your tip or all-in? And if the former, what was the house fee? Or just send him a PM and asking him politely.

And the OP could have answered publicly, or send or reply to a PM from other members in the thread.

Also, personally (solely from the perspective as a member and veteran hobbyist myself first and foremost), I believe that guys who say or ask "PM me" when THEY'RE the one requesting info are being lazy or expecting to be spoon fed. Don't do this...the onus is on the one who is requesting the info, and I'm sure almost any member will respond, provided the question or request is asked nicely/politely.

Also, a member's own review is just that...their own. Everyone has different writing styles and methods and formats. If a particularly review isn't for you, just move on...there's plenty of other content to digest. No need to inject any negativity...that's not what we're about. We don't have to befriend every single member on the site, but do your best to treat everyone with respect. Good day indoors.

there was a polite question, right at the beginning, for clarification by another member, instead of responding politely, he was just told that it was in the review. i also said that it was not clear to us, but instead of a polite response, i was lambasted for having the nerve to ask. but I'll bow to your eminent wisdom on this.

Not saying it's on you...it's on all of us.

@JackisBack6911 - for those of us who are not familiar with American slang, or misinterpreted your original review, what was the actual donation amount you paid all-in? Was the benji just the tip portion? Not at all familiar with this establishment, so any guidance and intel would be appreciated by all.

As the mod said. Feel free to DM the OP for specific questions. Generally private info should stay in private section. Good luck in your endeavors….
