Good response, I gave that a lot of thought before settling in on a comparison of legit to legit. Going the R&T route would require me to find a restaurant with topless servers. I just have a soft spot now for the legit houses. They are hurting financially and their current solution is Groupon with $40 coupons.

Standard R & T places , @60/hr, the house keeps $40, the masseuse $20. A non sensual customer might tip as little as $5, but most tip $10-$20. HE customers tip minimum $40, but many tip more, $60 is common and some younger, pretty providers can work a softie into $80 or more! Worst case @ 4 customers a day is $100, with $200-$240 a more normal day. Some young pretty ones can manage $400 on a good day, while keeping all of their clothing ON!
Agree with all your data for HE customers. My focus was on the legit house with no extras. To prove your point, I was at one yesterday and was told about a customer that had a 90 minute massage and left $5. In any event, if we think about the range $100-$400, picking the right door is important. Finally, I hope all those whiners who tip $40 and are demanding tops off read your last sentence.
At the end of the day, no one should expect anyone to do anything that makes them uncomfortable. There are different levels of service at different shops, and it’s not hard to figure out who does what where. Some enjoy the “game”, getting a little more than the last guy and then bragging about it on here. I’ve been accused of, and a little guilty of “bragging” myself, although I couldn’t see it at the time. It’s better to fund a good fit for the level of service you’re looking for, than try to get something extra and then not pay for it. Some shops have signs “minimum tip $10” etc, but then is it still a “tip”. Thankfully, most massage customers appreciate their masseuses, regardless of the level of service sought, and tip appropriately. For every loser who stiffs a girl, (no pun intended), there are often two others who tip extra, so it usually evens out. There are , of course , exceptions.
No one said the girl “asked”’for any extra money. Any more than the friendly, pretty young waitress asks for a bigger tip in a restaurant. But she GETS bigger tips, from idiots like us who ENJOY making her smile that much more , and who appreciate her not acting grossed out when we’re friendly and call her “sweetie” or “dear”.
