For just a standard HE I usually tip in advance because to me it’s just easier and I know what I’m getting but from now on I’ll just tip afterwards

I’ve found that even if you have a long history with her, it’s almost always best to tip after. If you have a history with her or with the spa, there shouldn’t be any interruption in service.
