Yes, and I remember they did renovations trying to comply but that failed
In short, their top-talent left for other spas and they didn't get enough new customers to be a sustainable business.
There was a misconception, primarily with Lina, that they were raided by LE. They were visited by building inspectors and were fined, but the story that was spread the LE story, even though Lina herself is a fully documented legal resident of the US. They failed building inspection for having a floor plan that wasn't documented with the city. That included the undocumented steam room that they removed. They also didn't have enough swing space with the bathroom door and purchased a smaller toilet in response. Finally, the walls between the massage stalls weren't documented, so they replaced them with curtains. After paying the fines and passing inspection, the two owners had a hard time overcoming the LE rumors within the "legit massage network" and the couldn't attract decent new talent. They didn't secure enough new or returning customers for the business to survive. Both owners took a loss on the renovations and moved on.
I totally miss that place. It was my go-to spot for therapeutic rubs and celebrations with the families of the talent that was there.
