I agree that Nat is nothing like porn star Mia Rider, who clearly is Korean. She's more like Mika Tan in the sense that it's hard to pin her down by phenotype, other than being East Asian. (My understanding is that Mika Tan is a mixture of Japanese, Samoan, and a couple of other East Asian ethnicities). The other current gals at MAGFE definitely have that "classic" Chinese look, like Lisa and Guo Guo. Nat told me that her father is Chinese and her mom is Korean but who knows for sure.
That said, I'm a mutt myself and people take me for all sorts of ethnicities, some of which I have, e.g., Indian, and some of which I don't, e.g., Iranian. (Though my understanding is that genetically, Indian and Iranian populations have high counts of the R2 haplogroup). My ex-wife was ostensibly a Southern WASP and always believed that she was primarily Scots-Irish with a Cherokee ancestor on her father's side. (For reference, my wife looked amazingly close to 70's actress Faye Dunaway). To everyone's surprise, it turned out from one of those genetic tests that my ex was primarily Scandinavian, with only 20% Scots-Irish ancestry and also surprisingly, 20% Spaniard (Iberian).
Our daughters, while sharing the same DNA, (though in different allocations), have totally different phenotypes. My older one is ALWAYS taken as an Ashkenazi Jew and my younger one is always asked, "where are you from?" or "what are you?" since she's an "exotic light brown woman." No one thinks that they are biological sisters.
