I have no clue why they would do that. But it is not appropriate under any circumstance. I would not trust ANY of them with my phone. If your phone is like mine, it is loaded with personal information as well as apps to financial information (Banking, Venmo, etc). You must leave it in your car. However, this comes with risks also. God forbid something bad goes down while you are inside during a visit, you have no means of contact with the outside world. Trust me, bad things can go down in these places.

Several things to be aware of:
They can get into that locker while you are in the room for an hour. It is not secure. And obviously they have the master lock that opens every locker.
The times I was there I did not use proper judgement. Reflected upon it as a lapse of judgement.
The first time I was there, she asked for my phone, took it and placed it in the locker. Big deal, I have the "key." When I was completed, she took my key while I was in the room and got my coat and phone, she brought them into the room for me, and than walked me out.
The second time I was there, I did not have a coat, she took the phone from me while I was in the room. Same thing, when completed, she returned my phone and walked me out. Never went to the locker.
The last time I was there I did not go in with the phone. I am not sure I am comfortable with that either.

well I might have to scratch this place off my list, I'll text them from my burner tomorrow anyway and see how adamant they about the jab cause I'm not taking it for anyone!
Not sure I would bring anything other than cash into these places, I lock my keys in my car as well, it has a keypad to unlock it, is there a reason you need to bring a phone? FYI...I'm new to this hobby

Do you guys seem to think they have a phone hacking operation here? At least if you have an iPhone if you got a passcode you got nothing to worry about it, restart it before it’s taken without putting in the passcode in again and it’s even more secure, they’re not getting into it either way, at least not in less than an hour… Androids I’m less sure about, but honestly I’d be worried about the other ways they could use something against you, but that’s anywhere, not just this spot
