Is it actually against the actual Forum rules to post an explicit review?

Is it actually part of the Forum rules that they will ban you if you post an explicit review?

Or is it the small group of people that are on this site trying to control all of the content?

Maybe a moderator can chime in and say what is permitted.

In certain geographic region and with certain spas it is recommended. Do WE want to control the site, that is not possible. The only ones that can do that are the mods and owners.
But what we would expect is that grown MEN would act in a RESPECTFUL manner and keep the overly explicit details to a minimum.. The us absolutely no need to write a 16 paragraph review explain a play by play of what you are capable of.

Even if people don’t write explicit reviews and if law enforcement is actually monitoring these pages, they’re not stupid and they can read between the lines and figure out what goes on.

I certainly agree, however, the more explicit reviews gather the most interest amongst LE.

LE usually let's the driver 5 miles over the speed limit go; 30 miles over the limit brings a world of hurt.

Obviously LE is of concern. But if they get a complaint from the so called 'Moral Majority ' they need to follow up. So here are a few real case examples, and these are real locations
Mom dropping her kids off at the dance studio.
Mom, Pop, and the kids going out for pizza.
Grandma and Grandpa going to Sunday Services
All of those people can read the PUBLIC follow up questions with are sometimes worse than the review itself.
Why give the opposing team an advantage. Private message is the best way to communicate.

Not being funny, but I don't understand why any of those people would be on this website. I'm not particularly for or against explicit reviews, you just have to go by what the rules of the Forum are.

And again, not to be funny, but if you're a married guy that can't keep it in your pants and you've got a wife that finds out you can't keep it in your pants and she is going to go on this website, that's not anybody's fault but your own.

Maybe you guys should go on a crusade to stop married guys from cheating, maybe that's a more noble cause.

Obviously there's no data on it, but I would certainly think jealous wives and girlfriends contribute more to L E activity than the site itself does, because I do not think LE really cares unless there is a complaint.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned..

You said yourself, "because I do not think LE really cares unless there is a complaint". Those 3 scenarios are the exact kind of people who do complain. They take down the name of the spa and do a search. And lo and behold what pops up this site. Sure they can't read the Private Details but they can sure gather enough information from the follow up comments to raise concern and possibly a complaint.

I'm not trying to belittle you or argue with you. I just see it differently.

I think that people who do not visit massage parlors don't really know much about them.

I think that if they see a sign that says Oasis Spa or whatever, I don't think they think anything of it. Most people are probably just oblivious to that and they go to get their pizza or whatever else is nearby and go home.

Think about it. Somebody goes to get a pizza. They park run in make sure they got their pepperoni put the box in the car and they go home. If one person walks in or out of a spa they probably would not even notice it. They're hungry and they want to go eat.

Now I could believe the neighbors would complain or the neighboring businesses. Or jealous wives or girlfriends.

At that point they could possibly use the site as a reference due to the complaint.

And maybe being explicit does not help, but I don't think it really matters. LE knows what goes on already before the complaint. Even if a review is PG you still can see what's going on.

I don't frequent a lot of other sites but I would imagine there probably are others that are explicit also.

Me, honestly, I really liked the way that Spa Hunters was setup and the way the reviews were. I don't really remember a lot of arguing and carrying on.

Yes, they were more PG, but the moderators had the site set up that way.

So unless the moderators decide to change the rules, it is what it is.

I have not been Spahunting in a while. But when I am actively Spa hunting, it is nice to know that there is somewhere that I can hear what the girl looks like, what she would do, whether it was good or bad, and what it will cost.

I am not sure it's a good thing to restrict that to only private message. Then it is more like a clique than a public site.

And for all the talk of protecting the girls and the spas, they get a lot of business from this site.

Both the spas and the girls are in business to make money.

There are too many self appointed hall monitors on this site. The site has moderators. If something is not appropriate, they should take care of it. This site is AMPREVIEWS: A Place to Review and Discuss Amps. Or am I missing something? And I really don't understand those who go on a thread and comment how they don't like some review or comment and then keep going back and reading and commenting again and again. If you don't like it don't friggin read it. Leave. You won't be missed. If you don't like the way someone reviews, don't read their reviews. SImple

" I am not sure it's a good thing to restrict that to only private message. Then it is more like a clique than a public site." That was pretty obvious to me when I first joined here. I use the "reviews" as a reference and make decisions based upon mostly PM's. Some give good info and some prefer not to divulge details, for various reasons. I don't do many reviews any more just to avoid the BS. Ya win some ya lose some. If you want a guarantee, buy a toaster !!!

Kinda agree with your point. There is nothing written or encrypted enough on this site that would fool any LE. Even the most discreet detail or abbreviated information will tend to wave a yellow flag. LOL
At the same time I do also understand not devolging too much detail, more out of concideration of the providers themselves.
