Gotcha, way it was written seemed like you knew damages, called, then said nah. Only time a voice has deterred me was when they sound like Patty and Selma from the Simpsons.

I had one from Sacred Eros. She talked normal but when she tried to land the deal she went to her "sexy" voice. It was not sexy and you could tell it was so forced. If she just talked normal the entire time I probably would have taken her up on her offering.
