But I agree with you spot on, I’m not in any rush to repeat. For me it was her age, she definitely looks to be hovering around my age give or take (I prefer my girls 5 years younger than me at minimum) and those damn extensions clips are annoying. Apple also had them as well.

I said she had very well done B manmades on my review from her first day there.
I don't think it is a secret.

I didn't notice the clips on Apple, but damn all that hair kept getting in the way with her.

I generally like my hos to not be that young, but would you guys still go for 2023 Emma Thompson? I mean, maybe circa Much Ado About Nothing, but otherwise.....I guess I like the little Chinese girls too much. If I want an actress with a hifalutin English accent, I'd rather have Gemma Chan. Or if it's a 60-something Oscar winner, Michelle Yeoh over Emma.

Speaking of Oscar winners! I feel like it's time for my semi-annual reminder. I shall quote myself.

"Tangent alert/pet peeve. Why do we always say "Oscar-worthy performance"? This is live theater, people. We should be handing out Tonys. Not Oscars."

(Though to be fair, CC did not, strictly speaking, say Fairy deserves an Oscar).

Michelle Yeoh vs. Emma Thompson would be a tough call. And somehow I don't feel they'd work well as a double. And, much as I love Michelle Yeoh, I'm not sure she deserved that Oscar.

Oh, and the Oscars have way more competition than the Tony's. Basically every new musical gets nominated for "Best New Musical."

Well, Fairy. Tadai, but she's good at everything. If Azu is actually acting, then she is the best actress ever, because I totally believe it. Yuriko. Hmm, one more. Oh, Mona (XOXO) - again, it did not seem at all like acting.
