Econ 101 - raising price lowers demand but increases margin per sale. Could backfire if customers find similar quality products for lower price (better value). Sometimes a business observes a competitor charging more and decides, hell why not us?
Agreed 20 is an odd number, unless the ultimate goal is 50 increase and they are inching the price up to get customers accustomed to paying more. Oddly though, with the exception of one or two customers, a decline in reliability and quality has been reported by members across the board. Can't tell for sure where the truth lies, but grass roots opinions have affected Gladwell's Tipping Points since the beginning of social science studies.

Look regular AMP ladies are starting to charge up to $250 for so called VIP level services. Like it or not, the reality is Philly has to compete with DC and NYC for younger hotter ladies. Of course the rent is much higher in DC and NYC. $270 most likely allows EPM to bring in the ladies we want at the service level we want. While the extra $20 give us someone who is 20 years younger and much hotter then the local VIP level ladies at an AMP.
EPM was starting to bring in ladies that were more of a hotter AMP level and not the A-level talent that we were used to. Sure I miss the old days of CH1 and CH2 where we could get amazing levels service at the standard AMP rates.
We can complain about rising prices but reality is what it is. These ladies are very smart and they know American men in NYC, Philly and DC are basically the same they want as many dead presidents in their wallets as they can get.
Of course I am the exception and they really really like me and I am special.

I understand what you are saying. At the same time, there are ALWAYS young, fresh talent available at 9V, Tokyo, MV, Hitomi, New Star, etc., etc., Some offer the basic (which is quite satisfactory for most) for the basic price; some add a premium level for this who wish to choose it. How can you beat that? Every good restaurant gives you choices! Not so hungry? Just order an appetizer... Starving? Order the surf and turf! These are good times, in a free market world, rejoice!
