Look for prices of everything to go up. There is a lot of 'Rona money being dumped into the economy. I expect inflation to revive like in the 70's, esp. if Joe's "infrastructure" bill goes through.

Supply and demand. The greater the supply, the demand sets the price.

Opposite. Greater supply would be if some factor caused a big increase in massage girls and they were all competing for mongers. We have lots of cash being pumped into the economy, causing a rise in demand.

These sellers are competing for buyers. Covid relief didn’t materially change disposable income. Rent, cc bills, etc ate up most of the $1,400.

Articles say credit card debt is way down and savings are up. The various relief programs have overdone it and put way more money into circulation. Half of my tenants are getting CARES to pay their rent, plus unemployment, plus the $600+1400 stimmy (for each kid, too!)

The basic laws of economics does not necessarily apply to the oldest profession. When you're on that table and your ATF is about to drop her draws and ask you "what you pay" chances are you'll take second mortgage. So imho the law of "a stiff dick has no conscience" is more appropriate .
