The classic ABS with a scene is a dying breed. Most places are grandfathered into their zoning locations as the areas developed around it(if they close, unplanned, chances are they are not ever re-opening the doors. A lot of ABS locations were out of the way locations in commercial/industrial areas on or near what used to be predominantly trucking routes/corridors 30+ years ago.
I think that bubble is gonna pop hard soon....OF took off due to lock downs and the perception that regular women were being forced to do it to earn money during the pandemic as well as being safer than breaking lockdowns. Lots of these young people just want to avoid direct social interaction or conflict and lose out. I saw a girl at work pay at least 2500 more for a used car because she just picked it off a website , paid for it and the dealer delivered it to her at home. She never even looked at it till after she bought it and they delivered the car.

It's also a convenience thing. Even extroverts imo are prone to doing so. I would fall guilty for being someone that would rather have an app or website form do the job for me.
