So wait. You went to 2 spas and walked out. what are you reviewing? You gonna drive by next time, look at the windows and report?
I saw Mandy 2 days ago, she looked fine, just tired and thinner.
Mandy has lost alot of weight as of a few years ago. I liked the younger version that was not as skinny. But, her massage skills are always top notch and she always pleases. She also seems to like what she does.

Fine. She’s a winner who has made a lot of people happy. I get it. But the place is a dump and I was greeted by a dumpling. I was reviewing the experience and non-welcoming atmosphere of both locations. Kind of a dumb question, but I like the drive-by image. There is so much potential for an evening, from parking lot to parking lot; the approaching smell, the welcome, the decor, the whisking away, the flirt, the compliments, the breathe, the skin, the seduction, the negotiations, the pressure, the oil, the heat of the water or towel or the lack thereof, the hole in the table, the bolster — or, lack thereof! the back walking — or lack thereof! The squeeze, the cleanup, the cool down, the wait for the water! Don’t tell me my money and time and energy and spirit and thoughts equate to nothing but getting my rocks off. Where’s the art?

what does your review say that actually covers any of this? I read basically you walked in, decided you didn’t like the looks of the girl, didn’t even try massage, made some snide comments about low bars of other customers, then move on to rip another spa. I don’t really care, I don’t usually pay much attention to other reviews. But I was there 1-2 days before you, my experience was so completely different that it makes me wonder. I’ve been to BCT often, it fits my desires for a great massage and a lot of fun. And Mandy has always been there making sure it all goes right.
If you have specific complaints you should say them.

All I got from your “review“ is you rejected a massage from the girl who gave me an excellent massage the day before, because she didn’t meet your standards for body build. That’s more of a review of the reviewer than of the spa.

if anything you should actually separate these 2 “reviews”. Since you actually received service in the second shop and it’s not listed In the title.

Ha. Exactly what you said.
I expect more and have experienced much better, cleaner, nicer, sexier, more fragrant experiences upon entrance. To each, brother. To each.

And, for the record, I didn’t receive service at the other. I was on the table after paying $40 for a half hour and the attendant put her ear pod in my ear telling me the boss wants to speak with me. I said hello and she began yelling at me ON THE TABLE telling me I can’t have a free half hour. I had no idea what she was talking about, the act was ridiculous so I cut out. Always dodge a bullet when you see it coming.

Mandy lost some weight but it happened over the time she was running back and forth between Brooklyn and Scotch Plains. It was hard work to manage two places. I remember she was even fuller back when Eva was running the place.

Mandy is a lot of things. She is beautiful & smart, she is a good business woman, she gives a great massage, she is healthy, and she is a very kind, gentle, caring, wonderful young lady.

What she is not: She is definitely not sickly.
Respect, BigG. Your reviews are journalistically simple and direct covering places within my wheel house. That said. You’re stating opinion, not fact. My opinion was based on a first hand viewing at a particular time. Not fact either. I know she’s a special person in the field, but I’m calling a spade a spade. Not fake news. And not typical, I’m sure.

FWIW, I found sxpm's original post helpful. I've been to BCT, have seen Mandy but have not visited in well over year or so. I too noticed the seemingly hit & miss quality of attendants declining once Mandy stopped massaging. This post provides insight through his experience for when I'm trying to decide if I'd like to spin the wheel and try to catch Mandy. Even without an actual massage - it's a review of 2 places that warranted him walking out.

1. I did not get the sense talking to Mandy after my last visit that she was sick. She seems thinner, but you know how it is when you see someone all the time, you dont notice gradual changes so much.

2. It hasn't affected her massage skills at all. It's still IMO top notch.

3. I'd prefer to get someone trained by Mandy then hit or miss elsewhere. I haven't noticed this hit or miss phenomena mentioned above. but its always ymmv right?

4. a review that says you walked out is ok if there are reasons stated. The OP gave little details on why he walked out except for the physique of the girl. Its a valid reason for him, I guess, but not enough for me to leave a Standard service place.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I have known Mandy for a very long time. Everything I said was not my opinion but a fact. I know her to be all of the things I stated.

I went to BCT recently for a appt with Amay, and I happened to see Mandy when I was there. I thought she was as vibrant and friendly as usual. Not refuting the OP, who is certainly entitled to his own impression of his individual experience - just adding another data point.

His individual opinion at a specific moment in time contributing to the over all experience. 100,000 Elvis fans can’t be wrong.
