Sorry for your bad experience.
If one mostly visits KAAMPs then I think one might be generally disappointed by PD encounters, just because of the price difference. Even a good PD session might seem like a waste of money if you can get comparable FBSA for much less elsewhere.
There are some things one can look out for: if a PD provider has gorgeous photos but the donation is lower than average then it is probably TGTBT. If the provider only has one set of "glamour" photos that are never updated, then that is also a red flag. I am wary of providers that don't have anything on their "no" list or don't differentiate levels of service in their rates. Also, look at the reviews and see if they are just general comments that could apply to anyone, or if the guys really took time to write specific comments about actually great experiences.
It's a good (but difficult) goal to manage expectations and set a low bar -- you want to have a great time but also hope to be pleasantly surprised by an encounter. If her ad says she doesn't LFK/DFK but you get a few kisses from her, then you might be on a high for a few days. If you see a FBSM provider and you end up getting extras, then you might feel like a rock star for a week.

. Even just mildly "no" reviews are less written than a real yes.
Good for you for writing about this, but not just as a toft for the rest of us. Although difficult, in my experience, a monger talking about a self inflicted painful experience to the ampreviews support group, helps make remembrance less painful, less avoidance to think about, so next time the monger is more likely to have a less fantasy biased, but more realistic tgtbt view.
