I gave her $30 which she was fine with -- didn't bother asking for a name since I knew I wasn't going to be requesting her in the future.

There is a Portuguese saying that an old very used pot cooks better than a new pot because it has more experience. It sounds better in Portuguese but it is what I have found it to be true at 98 Mott, both the 3rd floor and the 6th floor. First went to the 3rd floor and had Nana which was cheap, then had Lily and Lucy which was not cheap but very good. Then I found the 6th floor and ran through all of the grannies there. Now I am a 6th floor junkie always looking for my next fix. I was looking for an alternative to it and have been all over CT but cannot find it.
