My go to r/havingfunhobbying is sadly banned… Any other recs for similar groups?

Some of the posts I have seen there included some Bay Area talent. If “Uncle T” is on here holler at ya boy! Willing to share intel! We definitely eskimo brothers based on your video posts.

Reddit just filled for their IPO. They are looking to clean up the site for investors. When I used to work at Reddit in SF, just the things I saw in production it would make you sick.

You’re always talking crap, you would have posted something proving you were at Reddit.

I am a janitor.

It took me a while to realize a lot of people just come and go on this website. No one gives a crap. They are just here to gossip and read reviews. I thought I had to prove myself to people on this website. Whether I am what I calm I am is no one's business. Majority of my adult life really has been center around work and at work I have to prove to people. I guess I got into the habit of having to prove myself to people.

There was a bay area mongering sub (or still is), but my experience there was just newbies asking for recommendations... "any places in San Mateo?" type posts just get old.
