(QOTD) Is there any advantage knowing a little Mandarin or Korean?

This was one of those passing thoughts I had today. I know dead presidents is the true universal language but has anyone here seen any kind of advantage in knowing a little of their language? Is it seen as a form of flattery or does it raise the bar on how they us as customers monetarily?

I don't think it raises the bar... but it makes them smile and maybe little more comfortable... Besides the "universal language" good hygiene and kindness and respect will definitely help you. No one wants to eat on a smelly dirty plate full of hairs.

Speaking from experience no it really doesn't matter I speak both but when it comes down to these amp it really doesn't matter cause 160 or 200 still gets you the same service even if you don't speak the language money is money to these girls. I'm not there to ask about your life story or what's on your mind I'm there just to do my business and get the hell out before I bump into some mindless monger or some LE raid bust down the door. It only helps unless you want to spend the whole 1hr talking and waste the house money
