Hi all,
I just got some ridiculous call and pictures from this # saying I booked girls and never paid which is not true at all and started mentioning other things
Regardless of whatever you all do stay off 2backpage as well and any site like that for sure.
I spoke to someone in LEO on the side and he said yea this is common and they have heard this before where you are being accused of ordering girls and not paying for it when u never did and public information that is available about us is used against us.
Clearly this is an eye opener but wanted to flag this.

man I know you are being funny which i appreciate but I won't lie here and say I am not a bit rattled. Idiot said he was from the cartel but was 100% not even hispanic at all.
Ill let you all know if LEO tells me anything important.

UPDATE...

I found out the last owner of the # and address but LEO is pretty sure it's not registered to him and it's a scam number now.
Other online searches are indicating its a scam # now
Anyway.....

I believe there are other threads about this. Wait until you get the videos they send!!!
I told them if they knew my address to come on over, and like the old commercial said, "I'm Tom Bodett for Motel 6, and we'll leave the light on for you."
Never heard from them again.

I appreciate the humor and had to sign off work for an hour .So I spoke to actual cop and he was cool and I was honest completely and he flat out said “ definitely a scam and with the amount of information you can get online none of this is surprising but if there any problems call back immediately. “ ehhh I’ll have a couple of Coors Extra Gold now.

any spa I go has the batphone number and my amp name only and the ones i frequent wouldn’t pull this at all .i retraced my steps and it has to be on 2backpage or something and communicating to ask prices so that’s where the mystery was solved and even my non batphone second number is probably not even bullletproof . The last owner of this number above is in NJ and I have a name but the cop said that he highly doubts that former owner of the number would do this knowing he can get traced back easily and all of this is not uncommon .

First off, I hope you’re not using your real phone number to go diving for talent on listcrawler and/or backpage. At the very least for those sites you should be using a text app to cover your tracks. LOL I had one contact me after I reached out to a listcrawler girl for rates, a buddy of mine had actual videos sent of them lighting guys up with oozies. If you think “they” have the time or interest to tracking you down for $200ish for texting with a chick you’ve been watching too many movies. :ROFLMAO: You know how many guys flake on indies? They’ll start dropping bodies all over the city and get LE close to a RICO for trafficking and murders over guys tracking down bargain pussy? It’s the girl or her boyfriend hoping for guys like you that scare easy and send them $200. Milk it till the guy screams police and bail LOL

Well first off I post this as an FYI because we are all supposed to be on the same team here and this is not so uncommon apparently so your opinion so nothing is funny really.Second off i called his bluff 4 times on him and he kept spinning with more bullshit threats and I told him to pick the place and I’ll be there then he hung up .

Calm down bud. At no point did I go in on you in my comment. I started off with food for thought if you aren’t using a burner number, then followed with questions to help you actually think it through. Sure I can “accept” that the post may help someone else that scares easily (yes we’re on the same team) however I doubt they will use the search function and likely duplicate a thread like this. But you have to accept that you scared easily on this one considering the lengths you went through. That’s not a knock, this is a world you have to have tough skin in to learn, enjoy, and survive. When they never go to states far away, and move by car only, high possibility of undocumented lol.
But you guys in east are blessed. States with legal ones are filled with higher payment/less service workers.

If you had a burner phone and used an app messenger you wouldn’t even be thinking about this but obviously you use you own personal phone which is the dumbest thing in the history of mongering. If you that paranoid over a text message you should find another hobby.

NOPE. not at all. I see where the issue is and the 2nd app I was using (not whatsapp) was not reliable.
