Besides wearing a mask there is something else that you can do to decrease your chances of getting COVID
Every spa that I have been in has a spray bottle of alcohol, when I first enter the room I spray down the hole and area around it. By the time I get on the table it’s evaporated. While this might not be 100% effective, it sure will help.
Be safe out there.

Take your own cover for the table. Take your own pillow or a bandana for the face hole. And be sure to do a swig of bleach and swish it around and spit it out when you leave.

Mask is for the lie that it keeps you from spreading it... not keeping you from getting it.
If you ain't been sick previously you should be fine.
I went to one of my backup spas and she wore a mask. I didn't. Still left happy.
Be odd laying the naked with a mask on.....

And no shuffling your feet in the AMP, and NO heavy breathing while face down on the table, this nasty virus travels as a 'heavier than air' respiratory droplet and collects from the ground up. If you shuffle your feet, you stirr up a mess. If you have your face sticking through the table hole and breathe heavy, you create a torrent of wind. Cat 1 or so. This stirrs everything up. Don't stirr things up.

Unless you wear a proper fitting mask.

The purpose of the mask is to prevent you or hinder you infecting others. Not being sick doesn't mean that you're fine. You may be a carrier of the virus and infect others even though you appear to be fine. Wear a mask.

The regular surgeon type masks only work outwardly (although I assume even for inward it would be better than nothing).

The n95's protect both ways, but they are harder and stick out further from your face.

I don't follow the updates anymore, but that's what they had been saying, and all the first responders are supposed to be supplied with n95's.

I have one I bought a year ago for $2 at Harbor Freight for working in dust. I had no idea how valuable it would end up being.

Correct. If you want to really reduce risk, both provider and you should be wearing the mask. The massage cot is way too risky with putting your face on. Personally I just don't go to Spas anymore for that reason and stick to my trusted indie.
