Private message fail

So a newly signed up hobbyist comes to this site, immediately PMs me asking for any intel I care to share, he’s new, so basically I ignore him. He sends me yet another message, tells me of his previous PM and that I didn’t respond, “I sent you a message and you didn’t respond to my request, thank you for that.”
I reckon he’s under the impression I owe him something.
Another guy PMs me, I felt like sharing a girl In a local shop, he responds that he hasn’t been by to see her and asks for other intel, I’m like he didn’t use the info from first message, does he just want to know which girl is down for extras and really wants to visit or he just wants to know where and has no intention of stopping by.
The last guy, new to this site PMs me for intel, he’s followed me from another site, this guy asks for intel about Indys, he claims he’s been to several UTR houses in Chinatown, I’m familiar with all of the addresses he provides, I immediately get a negative sense about him, over the course of a few days he PMS me, pressing for intel, there ain’t no way I’m gonna share my Indys with he or anyone else from the site he came from, that bridge doesn’t exist anymore. It’s where I would utilize the block member button if this site had one. Rant over.

The site does have an Ignore button... I know it works on message threads. Does it not work on PM?

New members should understand the need to establish credibility first. Write some reviews, take part in discussions, and provide Intel. Than their chance of receiving info improves.

if the ignore button works right, it should stop PM's too. Personally, I prefer to not block anyone, and see any negative comment made.

I agree, I was ranting more so. Ignore button has its use and limits. I figure a block option prevents visibility of anything I add on site. Some new to site are immediately following me and add nothing on the open forum.
