Had beers with a buddy of mine last night who is also a Passaic County Sheriff. At one point I brought up the Passaic scene and he said to stay outta there. Apparently there have been a ton of resident complaints and their pretty graphic advertising online has drawn the wrong attention. He said they had 1 internal meeting already about a task force and a rep from ICE even attended. Surveillance ops are more than likely to begin soon. Just a heads up. I mean it was bound to happen with the way they post online.

I agree, but the fact that he said there was and ICE agent in on the meeting tells me it could be more than just an AMP raid. That tells me they’re possibly interested in the illegal immigrant/ human trafficking aspect of it. ICE has been extremely active in North Jersey. I personally know 2 guys that have been deported in the last 6 months.
I also agree. ICE has been hammering Jersey and Union City lately. Passaic and Newark would be logical next targets. My friend is at Passaic County not the City of Passaic. Generally when it’s a city raid it cause they got too busy or the spa didn’t make their kick back to LE. This is at County and federal if it’s an ICE raid, your name will def be in a blotter.
Totally agree! My friends that got deported were just friendly day labor guys from Union City. Not to blow up anyone’s fantasy, but how do you think a good percentage of these AMP girls get here? Years and years ago I worked next to a strip club and became friendly with some of the girls and the stories were all pretty similar, a mafia type operation where they would be given a Visa, a flight and a bed in a packed apartment, generally would cost them around 30K to be worked off. And they’d have to pay a hefty transportation fee daily.
I was at one of the Passaic establishments last Summer and as I was leaving I saw what I'm sure was a Latin-x landscaping crew of 3-4 in the waiting area. I'm guessing not all of their wages are sent home after expenses. Guys away from home and their girls are gonna have to blow off some steam. Maybe ICE is considering an AMP honey trap.
There are many motivations besides indentured servitude to go out there and hustle. I mean look at the ages of the providers. If there was this network of sponsors, why aren't we seeing 20's somethings by the bus load working these places. Certainly a sponsor would bring soneone over that would command too money and actualy be able to pay them back right?
True, I agree. There’s just a bunch of logistical problems, which I’m sure can be overcome, but by so many?? I mean a decent Chinese Salary is about 20K usd per year and a decent Korean salary is 30k usd per year. Logistically on that salary, how could one afford to get a Visa, flight, apartment, car, etc. For these reasons I lean towards “sponsors”.
SOP. In another town in another state that has been clamping down on AMP and on one that I frequented. There was a Dunkins directly across the street. I left the Spa, crossed the street and walked into Dublin’s. There were local cops, state cops, ICE, FBI must have been ten in total all crowding around the window watching the AMP. They paid no attention to me fortunately. I bought my coffee and left. The owner found out they were under surveillance and moved the two women who worked there to another location. Typically they watch if the women come and go or if it appears they are sleeping there which could mean they are trafficked.
