It says concerned citizens complained to the leo. That spa has been around for some time and it's one tenant in a building with other businesses and across from a mall.

This is either one of the other business tenants being upset or a disgruntled wife. Hard to see a random resident knowing about the comings and goings for that location

I have some questions. How did these concerned citizens know there are acts of prostitution? Why organized crime & narcotics has anything to do with a massage parlor?

I have a theory... With all those talk about human trafficking and the FL spa busts in the news. You run the risk of local "heros" checking sites that.the.news is referencing like rubmaps, to see if any of these human trafficking spas are in their town. If there are, they can jump on their town's Facebook group, and instantly start sounding the alarm about these places in their community. At that point, it's only a matter of time before the LE has to intervene.

Thia is totally something my Grandmother would have done.

Trafficking is definitely a problem, "IF" that is what really is taking place. I think more citizens are more concerned with Drug Overdoses!
Heart breaking article in The Sunday Record of a mother who had lost 2 children linked to drug overdose. Apparently the drugs were bought in Paterson NJ .
Many people have died because of a Hot Load Drug Overdose , but how many people have died from shooting their Hot Load at a Spa?
L.E. should devote more time to getting the drug dealers arrested.

Sometimes legit massage places (who google "massage" and find themselves on page ten) complain about these places. Pissed off wives and do-gooders call. Or if someone calls and makes a point to follow up, it may spur an investigation. Make no mistake, LE knows every place and everything that goes on inside. Many are customers. Any spa could be busted on any day. It is simply not a high priority, until someone makes it so. "Trafficking" is the current hot button phrase to justify the time, expense and manpower. Busting a middle-aged Asian woman for giving a guy a handy, doesn't get the public backing that it used to.
