Yes, I agree and simply do not understand ordering a well done steak.
I also do not understand well done pork.
Medium is fine. Trichinosis is all but wiped out in developed countries.
I even like my sausage and peppers hero to be medium and juicy.

Well done pork need not be dry. A well cooked fresh ham should fall off the bones and be very moist, even before putting mojo (or mole rojo) on it.
