I'd consider Laos and Cambodia too in addition to Thailand, as long as you dont mind being way off the beaten path. Laos is way cheaper than Bangkok (less than half the price). The lifestyle is slower, more relaxing. Cambodia last time i went (2 years ago) a little cheaper than Bangkok and if you stay in Phnom Penh its same lifestyle as Bangkok. As weird as it is - both of these countries have more stable governments than Thailand right now. I have less experience in Vietnam, but that seemed a good choice too.
Aruba used to be good because you had 2 options. First was the Venezuela escorts, as mentioned above. They were smoking hot and the service ranged from good to off the charts. An hour was ~$150 but longer term options were available. The second, and less expensive option, was the red light district in San Nicholas. At one time there were 15-20 bars with 3/4 Colombians in each bar. They would come to Aruba on 3 month work visas. Service ranged from below average to excellent but the cost was generally $50-70 for a 30 minute cbj/cfs session. The whole town of San Nicholas was built around the Lago Oil refinery, you can research the history. Long story short, Valero was the last Company to operate the refinery and they shut down most of the operations 8/9 years ago. As a result, many of the bars have closed and there are a lot less women working in San Nicholas. I was last there in 2019 and it was ok but nothing like it once was. I have no idea what is going on there since Covid hit.
Aruba is a nice island and very "Americanized", with a Dutch and South American vibe. It's not a cheap place to live! Unless you are really good at relaxing I get the impression it could get boring living there. It is a small island, the weather is always the same, and the main activities are water sports, gambling, and to some degree mongering. I always really enjoyed vacationing there.

Just to be different, as a couple people have, and suggest Canada. Safe, no language barrier, Canada is basically what the U.S. used to be, and mongering is basically decriminalized. $$ an hour for a 20-something hottie who is normal and down to earth. Great agencies there and the country itself has a lot to offer. Cold though.
Canada has some rules around immigration that favor younger, more employable people over seniors. It can be done, but takes more planning. I had a cousin that retired in canada, but for him to do that he had to buy a second house there first, and then establish himself up there as a semi-permanent vacationer. Agree on the mongering scene there. Its very relaxed, particularly in Toronto and Vancouver.
There is a lot to like about Canada. I have definitely considered it. Absolutely love mongering up north. Can't wait to get back to Toronto as soon as I can. However, like you said, it's cold. The other big down side is that the 2 places I'd live, Toronto and Vancouver, are expensive as fuck. It would require a way bigger nut to retire up there compared to a lower cost locale. A lot can change in the next 6 or 7 years though. Go stock market!!!
I was in Costa Rica in the early 90s and the tica scene was incredible. It wasn’t even mongering, it was all free love (I was a strapping young blue-eyed gringo right out of college though, so I had that going for me). girls of all stripes just threw themselves at you. I went back in the late 90s and it wasn’t quite the same — I think it was at least partly that as tourism skyrocketed , being a gringo was less of a novelty, and girls got a little jaded.

I also read where they elected a woman as President and she went to town on the night life in Costa Rico and it not been the same since.
Also Costa Rico can not be compared to the neighboring countries as their standard of living is extremely high and they have a much better education system primary because of the high German and Eastern European migration since the end of WWII.

But still the Yankee dollar goes a long way. Ok n terms of a women you need a nice beautiful local . They hold Americans in high regard. Eastern Europeans and the like are looking for John’s - I was commenting with regard to the retirement end of the question - and getting some hot young relationship pussy. Mongering outside the US can be dangerous both as a patron and LE. Many countries have mandatory jail time even as the John . Thailand was cool Bangkok, but again you can get in a world of trouble quickly.
