I think it has to do with safety because in their business they worship money over anything young, old, crooked johnson and they just care about the benji. I heard story of people robbing the place, blocking entrance, or complaining after the service. If the neighborhood is predominantly chinese/white then a ethnic of another kind will bring attention especially with the number of guys that will be visiting. Or the girls prefer a certain ethnic who knows. Just move on and find another providers thats okay with AA. Not everything is racism

Im really feeling like this thread has become a showcase for some peoples ignorance and bigotry. Obviously, no one has taught some of you to look at things objectively, so allow me.
Denial of service based on preference of race is bigotry no matter the reason. If it is fear of being robbed or killed it is no different than a server refusing to serve black people because "they don't tip". Its a microagression that evolves into exclusion. If you open a place of business in NYC ANYWHERE you have to expect all walks of life to walk in. If you have concerns, move or get security.
On the other hand, while that is bigotry, as a black man myself, I dont care if someone doesnt want to see me because of some preconceived notion. Even for a hobby where the goal is to get my rocks off, I dont want to spend any time, effort and certaintly not any money on people that ignorant and short sighted. If i get turned away (I did just yesterday) I shrug and move on.
Bottom line, is the demonization of dark skinned individuals is real and no matter how many crimes may happen of a particular race, it can be perpetrated by any race as the Atlanta shootings proved so there is no defense there. Please stop being ignorant. And if not I sure hope the mods close this thread.

I’ve seen it run the gamut for me, and I believe location city, state, and country can be a factor as well. Over the years with AMPs I’ve gotten everything from angry denial of service, to no cowgirl or reverse cowgirl but everything else cool, to checking my junk and then asking me to please go slow, to where you been, I no see you long time. The vast majority of my hobby carrier has been positive. Like in civvie life stereotypes can play a role based on the individuals, circumstances ans locations involved.
Completely agree. Regardless of reason, it is by definition racist. The reality is it’s an illegal business (for now) and, even if it were legal, most of us would agree in this instance, her individual right to choose should supersede anti discrimination laws. Either way, I’m not going where I’m not wanted and ultimately it’s their loss.
This just dawned on me and should be a SHOW STOPPER. We had a summer of Racist Hate Crimes against Asians. Who was doing it y’all? In the beginning the Media was going nuts blaming TRUMP for his supporters beating on Asians because of Covid. That didn’t last long and they went silent on blame when it was apparent that day after day it was angry BLACK men sucker punching and beating on Asians, mostly women I’ll add, cowards. This administration made good, even better than promised on there vow of Transparency. They have been Invisible! Black lives matter never even said anything. Finally Al Sharpton had to get out on the street and say hey, Let’s stop this behavior, it’s not good for OUR CAUSE. But didn’t condone the hate, just how it affects them. Glad he recognized it and wasn’t afraid to speak out instead of ignore it and think nobody is noticing, you know, like the WOMEN working at the AMPS!
