My Top Pet Peeves about AMPS.

hah totally love this topic! The initial list hits all the hot points for me, many of the others too, while some I either never noticed or they don't bother me. My main #1 is haggling, followed by the phone thing.

First time there's any microtransaction horseshit, I'm outta there. Look at the pile of money I carefully laid out on the table under my glasses, and let's get rolling, tell me no when I go past my limit.

The phone thing, I don't mind if it's one, and it's a place I like, but more than one, or if I have to hear the conversation, or if it's incessant texting, nope, outta there.

The other side to this, a lady I visit weekly at an AMP near me, once I think the visit where she and I hit it off, she felt open enough to vent to me about shitty customers, during the TM. I found it funny, but wow they have quite a list, and I heard the same items from other girls too.

One I'll add that I don't think I saw listed. The active OTC evasion. You work in a place where you jerk dudes off for money. Evading OTC seems silly. When they are moving about the table during TM, and put their pussy right where your hand is, wtf else do they expect?

All of the things listed in this thread are exactly why I stopped going to AMPs for years. Got tired of it and also bored of it (same routine, different place). I was lucky enough to find a few legit LMTs (American) who satisfied my needs. They were really hard to find and things were great for about 4-5 years until Covid screwed everything up. One left town and the other 2 stopped doing massages. So, back to the AMPs I go...and it's still the same ole, same ole. Though I've found ways to ignore the pet peeves (unless their THAT bad) and just enjoy myself.

Nah, mental. Not too annoyed (with the chatter) to pop but annoyed enough to lose the wind in my sails right after. No basking in the glory of a good session with a full mast.

Great thread here. I was actually considering my first AMP experience when I go to Boston next week...not so sure now. Especially the "basking in the glory of a good session with a full mast" part. I made love in Boston/I got a jackhammer jerkoff in Boston. I dunno.

That said, I'm wondering why some of you keep coming back, besides the lower cost.

Each session is different, and each provider is different. You go back not to experience the same thing, but to a different provider, or a different spa hoping for a better session, and many times you do get good sessions. If all sessions are bad, I would probably not be mongering.

Fscking right on brother. For many of us, the hunt is grander than the kill. If I get an HE ten times at the AMP, but then at random get BBJ at a franchise LMT place, isn't the universe grand?

That's why I used to go to different ones to see what's the story. Ages of the women kept creeping up and well I said "bye for now."
Just call or go to another place and see what's up. Easy come easy go.

hah I do have more than one of these. Is completely YMMV, of course, and the punch line is what happened at the very end while getting dressed. She said that when I introduced myself at the beginning, my name, and she saw my physical appearance, both of which are rather unique, she had heard about me from a friend of hers who does work in a regular FS place that I have visited on occasion while visiting that town. She did the BBJ so she could get the thing she wanted, the DATYO and grindfest.

Definitely YMMV, but 1000000% why all of life is fascinating and amazing, and why the hobby is the gift that just keeps on giving. If you remember in your AMPing that they are people, and women, and that at least 1 in ten actually do want whatever you want and more, and at least 1 in ten of those are willing to do it, at work, with you. That's bad odds if you monger once a year, but you go often enough and go to random enough places, everything is permitted, da? Just remember that there is a fine line between what gets you sent to the prison and what gives you a great fishing story.
