Mongers who have been arrested for mongering...what it was like?

Not sure if any of you exist, but just in case....

Was the charge a misdemeanor or felony?
Did you do time in a jail, or were you just booked, processed, and sent home? (I'm probably all saying that wrong)
Was your life ruined in some way (your picture in the paper, or you now have a "sex offender" jacket?)
What was the aftermath?
Any tips to not get arrested?

Uhh, and I guess any questions I didn't address.

Dodged the police twice in this world. Not easy. First time was at a spa raided for trafficking right after I finished a FS session and was putting on my briefs. Greetings officer, how are you today?

Second time went to see a provider at an incall. Unbeknowst to me, she had stayed too long at an Extended Stay hotel. The front desk got tired of the traffic to her room and called the cops on her.

The cops pounded on the hotel room door while I was in a session with her.

Like everything in life, timing is everything.

I can only imagine what it’s like as you’re being processed and moved around before you get to your dorm or final holding place.

What got you in here?
I was caught with a hooker

They’d laugh and probably poke fun lol
And then let you know they’ve all done it

Hopefully it’s not 3 strikes and you’re out.

Yes, Current wife at the time...Now an Ex...It was a night to remember ...GF didn't miss a beat during the confrontation...LOL...
Yep, that is pretty bad and I am sure the divorce did not come cheaply.
It is still better than getting caught by the police. Any public record you get will go thru your work, social network and family.

Serious question. In restrospect, would you say that this event was GOOD because it maybe helped bring on the split that needed to happen anyway, and you became free etc? Or BAD, it didn’t improve the course of history for you in any way, it just added problems and drama to the mix?

You never want to give an X that kind of hammer even it has little impact since no-fault. I have a rule: never leave a woman for another. If you’ve been pushed to your limit then leave. When they realize that you left because you couldn’t stand living with them any longer and there is no other woman that drives home the point and your position is defensible.

Jaymus,
...It all worked out for the best... I'm a free man now. Retired, with the alimony payments behind me LOL..The relationship with the GF lasted 4 years and we parted on good terms...have another GF now and spend my time between home base in NJ and Flushing... Life isn't perfect but this is much better than the worries I had Mongering, when I was married... No regrets

That’s great, and I’m happy to hear about your happiness. It sounds like everything fell into balance, and it’s good to have the bitter stuff behind you. Thank you for sharing.

As as a spin-off to this topic, do you guys have a backup plan in case the worst happened, and you DO get pinched during a raid? Like who would you call when you’re in the station house. A trusted friend? Wingman? A lawyer who understands about your activities? I have a friend who knows I’m involved in this and we have talked about calling each other if either was busted by LE

If you live in NJ/NY no reason to call anyone. The worst that can happen is you are let go with a court date. There isn’t a bail option now. Either you are ordered held in jail for the duration of your trial or sent home. Usually only extremely violent crimes are ordered held.
