The place wasn't that great anyway, but basically looks like there will be no KMP left by the end of the year in this neighborhood....
Seems like they annoyed the neighbors... I walked by one day and remember the apartment building right next door had a sign that read "this is not a spa... don't ring our bell."

LmAo, Rom is there a single AMP in Astoria you haven’t checked?
From my understanding Red Spa was decent but that was according to a friend of mine, I never went there.
Regardless of rent going up in Astoria there was never (from my experience) a “great” amp in the neighborhood to begin with and I’ve been here for 8 years now. Back in the BP days there were some nice Indy apartments but no more. I’ll hit up Sunny cause it’s close by but I’d rather spend a bit more and visit the amps near K town in the city. Plus I can’t stand the Eastern European providers since they’re cold af.

Yeah from the pic you posted and the sign on the bldg next door it seems like they had complaints. Peculiar since the area doesn’t have that much foot traffic and the address on these buildings are labeled well
it must’ve been many negligent mongers that strolled in drunk and kept buzzing the wrong location or something

If you read closely it says an undercover detective went on 2/21. They probably have no cosmetology license which is probable cause to investigate.

There’s actually 2 spas a couple doors apart here. This one Masato is Chinese and not that great. The other one is Korean and not that bad. The Korean one has been around much longer. It’s called HK Sun or something.

Are you sure because I highly doubt the residents on that block would tolerate not one but TWO illicit Spas within steps of each other?

I'm pretty sure HK Sun turned over to "Masato" About 2 years ago

Well, as hard as it to believe on the corner of Grand and Queens Blvd, there are at least 6 spas (if not more) in a half block radius.

Good morning, Mr. Rombulous. I just wanted to let you know that there are in fact, two spas within a very short distance of each other on the same street (Steinway) there in Astoria. I visited this spa many months ago and did not find anyone to my liking, so I ventured down the street to the other spa. I left there as well, without seeing anyone.
