10 shops, 11 arrests
Major beef seems to be documents and health code irregularities, but that is likely just the pretext to get in the door and start collecting evidence.

This seems to be the result of the recently enacted FL HB 197 [https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2024/197]
From the linked article:

House Bill 197, or the Health Care Practitioners and Massage Therapy Bill, was signed into law by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in May.
The bill requires the state to suspend the licenses of massage therapists and massage establishments if any employee of a massage therapist or establishment is arrested for any of the spate of offenses, including having sex with minors, prostitution, kidnapping, or false imprisonment.
The law was taken into effect on July 1.

Every store, in North Naples at least, is still closed. Lights off and curtains drawn. Even the ones not raided.

in Lee county, everything open. At least the few stores just over the southern border that I drove past.

Careful though. Seems just a matter of time before other organized raids. And could take a different tact

At least four are “out of business” closed: The two on Pine Ridge, the one around 107th with the big MASSAGE sign, and the one in the shopping center behind Wendy’s

The fact that it's been over two months with no further actions maybe means this was a one and done, an election year stunt that had the desired effect and now the government and LE will start focusing on some real crime.
Yeah, not holding my breath...
