Man, I walked down Ludlow the other day, and it was just dead, such a strange feeling. I’ve been going to 1814 for at least 10 years. First Lisa then Candy, with a little Jackie thrown in for fun a few years ago. But Candy has been my got to.

I hope I run into Candy again, been my regular for the better part of a decade. We really had a good thing going. I’d put my review in but it’s been since Feb that I saw her last.

You think any of those Ludlow spots will reopen? It feels like with the new hotel there, they may get pushed out. So if anyone sees Candy anywhere let me know.

And I’m glad I found this forum, happy mongering!

You just brought back memories for when I worked in the city. Forget which Ludlow address it was but it was my first ever asian massage experience. Was at the corner one closes to Ruth’s Chris steak house a couple years back and that was last time I was there. Had a nice Brazilian with an amazing body. Gloria was her name.

I too got to know Candy over the past couple years. Sadly, I think with 1814 closed she has disappeared for good. I've got her cell phone number, and we used to exchange texts. I've tried her a couple times over the last 6 months but have gotten no reply. Phone goes straight to a message saying that voicemail hasn't been set up. So unless someone knows anything better, I'm guess she headed back to South Korea.
