Joanna SPAS is now Rising Sun Spa. We continue to provide all of the same amazing services as before, and for your convenience, we will keep both websites up and running during this transition. We also have some exciting news. With a qualified referral, we are now accepting medical insurance for massage therapy. Verify your insurance by clicking the link below!

I clicked on the link in the email. They want your Employer name and address and your health insurance info as well as your personal info. Just an FYI chiropractors are usually covered by health insurance some even cover acupuncture now, but most the time with your health insurance even if it is covered you will have a copay 40 60 or 80. So where would the benefit be to you. Not sure what Joanna is looking to do here. Obviously had to change the name of the spa to do this

I was just there the other day - Saw Joanna and she asked me if I saw the new sign. Same prices at this point. They will not survive if the go to 90 and hour. Susan is the only one worth seeing. I've been at her to go out on her own. All the girls that work there are to dependent on Joanna. That's why a turnover is there. Susan does well there. She will be gone soon I'm thinking. That's not official. Just my guess.

hah would be an interesting business model, for an AMP to set up two pricing tiers like this. Say 90$ on the sign, to keep out the riff raff and low tippers and so on, and then the usual rates for regulars and men of culture.

No, she is saying you have the old rate because business is getting slower. If everyone calls up and says it was nice doing business with you, she will have that sign down by next week.

Hmmmm, I am interested in reading more re insurance at spas. My primary is medicare and secondary is BC. I wonder if they would bill medicare first like other health care providers.

They have to if Medicare is primary as BC won’t pay until after Medicare pays. This is common if where you or your spouse whoever’s employment the BC plan is through has fewer than 20 employees. This is my area of expertise LOL
