Is rude/unusual to start a massage face up?

I'm still a relatively new monger, so I don't know the "rules" so to speak. I recently received a massage from Jenny in Callas, and LOVED it. Next time I go, I would like to start the massage face up to start with an HJ, then get the massage, then (hopefully) get a second pop. Is this rude or unusual? I don't want to offend or confuse any providers.

I have done it both ways HE first then massage sometimes it's nice to get it out of the way and they know... I have done face up to start before with Jenny on a few occasion

It usually depends on how much time I have. Sometimes I’m in and out in 20 minutes and have no time for a lame back rub. Right to the main event!!!

This. I’ve definitely asked directly or when they say face down i say “two times?” They know that means one now and one later, either face up, or face down with a brief ST, but no massage to start. And yes, you’ll need to tip extra to ensure they remember you in a good way for next time.

I always opt for the TS and when they're done washing me I tell them I want to pop once there first. Rarely ever any argument at HE places, maybe a discussion of extra tip if the girl is new. FS places don't go for it in my experience and it makes sense because most of them aren't about to actually massage you for a hour (to recharge) before it's time to go again.

The downside of starting face up, is the massage afterwards doesn't have that tingle to it. It becomes purely therapeutic. But sometimes, I just don't wanna wait.

I can agree with that but at the same time it lets me completely relax for the massage. Even better if there's not a lot of teasing during anyway because you're missing out on much then. Plus the bonus is that I'll last longer the second time.

the way to do it would be to proceed as normal by starting the massage face down. When the leave the room, either switch to face up or hide under the table to surprise them.

Just imagining these poor women wondering why this crazy dude is hiding under the table naked cracked me up. I was at a spa in Lakewood once (medical complex one on 70) and the chick put me in the sauna they have while she prepped. I was in for a minute or two and it was just too much so I got out. It was my first time there so I had no idea the layout and decided to just wait in that area for her instead of trying to find her ( I was the only guy there for sure which is the only reason looking around even occurred to me). She jumped a foot when she came back into the room.
