Doing some research about LE in NYC:
1 - I know LE can post fake ads and use undercover officers to bust johns. But can they compromise indie providers and use them to lure johns into a sting? There are some popular providers with little to no screening, and it seems like it'd be really easy for LE to arrest them and strike some sort of deal if its legal.

2 - What precautions should someone take at an incall to avoid legal trouble in case it is a sting? Is there an easy way to confirm they're legitimate? Questions to ask, having them make the first move, etc.

There’s a really easy way at Asian incalls to figure this out. If they give you a blowjob while in the shower or on the tableshower, then it’s not a sting and you’re not a cop. Sometime if you are lucky you’ll get one girl to do the bath and blow, and another girl in the room. I once had one of the working mommy’s at a place on 55th and 6th demand me to drop my pants and she blew me right there in the waiting room my first time there. Not to completion but a short bbbj. There are a few falsehoods and misunderstandings regarding the above -

(1) Police sting operations generally involve a lot more than catching a John n the act . Before an operation is out into play they need to go before a judge , file and order to show cause -and present evidence of why a warrant should be issued . Then they can set up a sting .

It generally emanates from a neighbor complaint ( smart AMP ‘s don’t have neighbors they take the whole floor). Indies generally are very quiet . Or if it’s federal it involves money laundering , tax evasion and / or human trafficking . That’s a raid like April of 2017

However if a sting operation is in play none of the nonsense above nonsense is true . An undercover officer does not have to identify himself If it risks blowing his cover . And undercover officer can understand the same statute engage in sex if it is in the course of gathering evidence in a continuing investigation. In the same vein as a narc that dies drugs to gain acceptance

Bottom line it’s usually small potatoes - rather than waste the time generally they will knock on the door at a busy time of day - flash badges , duster see the crowd pull the owner aside and tell them you’re done .

If they ignore the warning - they will be back like April 2017 - they were warned .

For the author of this post - stick with heavily reviewed Indy and AMP’s. Listen to the mongers here they will steer you in the right direction . Don’t venture out on your own - stick with the voices of experience on here and you’ll be fine

doing drugs to gain acceptance is one thing. getting a bbbj to gain acceptance is a similar thing
....But to give a random john a bbbj....that's a whole another ballgame. esp. if the UC looks good enough to pose as a provider.

Either I am not expressing myself properly or these comments are not directed at me .

Whereby the original question emanated from a male on this forum , I commented to him as such. I was talking about the John being the UC not the provider. Female providers generally operate totally different utilizing on site entrapment - so here is a tip for you the person that posed the question .

If the provider is an Indy , will not entertain outcalls , has zero reviews along with a phone number that comes up blank on a Google search, chances are moderately high you are walking into a wired sting.

Don’t lay any money down - try to kiss - if she turns away try to paw her - breasts ass- if she pushes you away and starts to press hard for the money - say this is a mistake and leave at once -hope two dudes with badges don’t stop you on the way out -that would be my advice - female provider stings work differently unless they are federal and under deep cover where anything goes .

I was just thinking of the situation they'd have back at the station would look like....John UC gets high fives for getting a bbbj on the job and Jane UC gets a sign up sheet for the next bbbj.

In reality it seems like they are only after the bigger fish tied to other crimes or maybe neighborhood complaints to their city reps, etc. There's so much public information on so many locations that if they wanted to they could wipe out dozens of locations each day just by going at a busy time like 5-8pm when mongers get off work. They just choose not to. Not high priority.

Exactly correct - they are interested in three things - human trafficking, kidnapping and abuse , and TAX EVASION aka money laundering. Most start with a state task force and feed up to the Feds
