Why do they make such a big deal about this holiday and mention it to us constantly? They are not even in Asia anymore. Most of us old cranks couldn't give a shit about our OWN new year's holiday why are we supposed to care about theirs? :rolleyes:

Our Own New Year holiday is nothing like theirs. "They're not even in Asia anymore." Yes and it makes them nostalgic for home. It's a time when family and friends from all parts of the country and world come together. It lasts 2 weeks. Nobody works. I'm not Asian and I have been in China for their New Year. It's truly magical. You show your ignorance and lack of sensitivity with your comments.

It’s vey unusually to close this last gir two weeks most of the places are open the girls they celebrate at night with friends unfortunately today it’s raining so they will do the fire work’s tomorrow like I say it’s a two weeks celebrating good for them it’s not easy for these girls they have kids and boyfriends and husbands back home

I wish I had more time. What time I could spare last night for a special woman was spent taking her on a nice evening walk, doing some shopping and sitting down to a simple but classic chinese meal. It was an enjoyable evening and she felt good having someone spend time with her.

Maybe there are some of you out there that will take some time out of your precious lives to spread some kindness and good will.
