Cops know all about these places... I saw a Ridgefield cop coming out of Smile Spa years ago.. I ask the MM if she knew who he was and she said he was a regular.

Wonder how that works "Buying The Place?" How much do they pay ? The whole AMP show seems to be run by a syndicate. Note how prices don't deviate and everyone falls in line!

Lots of entanglements though in terms of licensing with the town, assignment of lease, etc. Some owners actually "sell", but there is no paperwork or transfer of business. Seller will stay on business license and take a % of the proceeds on a monthly basis until the full sales price is paid.

Little by little they are cracking down on Fair Lawn.

Many of the "Yentas" probably want the spas to close because hubby is dropping a shit load of money at these places!

What do cities like Passaic, Dover, Fair Lawn, Edison, etc. do differently? Hot beds of AMP activity in abundance. Are their elected leaders and LE paid off? Just focused on actual crimes instead of BS like this? I've always wondered that.

I remember visiting a Latina MP in Bloomfield years ago, and from what one of the girls there said, it was exactly that. A lot of the officers would go to the MPs and receive freebies. That way the place was protected.
