Greetings to all,

Just curious….

Are you happy with the moderating staff here?

Are the membership’s needs being met?

Is there room for improvement? If so, what improvements would you suggest specifically?

Speak freely….or PM me if you would like to share your opinion privately.

Thanks!
TJ

I did a review for a place in Florida last week. I was on vacation. Two days later I get a message saying my review was rejected with one word “banned”. Idk if that means I’m banned, the place is banned, or what. And there’s 100 warnings not to PM or I’ll get banned. If the place is banned and I’m not even from Florida, how am I supposed to know? It’s confusing and there’s nowhere to go for an answer.

I just posted my comments under your thread on Boardwide General Topics. But, how can you even ask this question when you allow your moderator rAMPage to post a thread with the title: "I'm a pathetic piece of shit and I should take rAMPage's advice to not be banned. " You're kidding with this question, right? Guess next time I log in I'll see "OOOOOPS, you've been banned" and then hear from a buddy on here that rAMPage called me a piece of shit on the board behind my back.

The other problem is that bans of spas seem to be forever and if you are a new member you have to look all over to see which places are on the "banned list". I recently made a comment about Stone Body Work and a fellow member was kind enough to let me know that the place was banned. When I tried to find something, I think that ban was put in effect years ago. Maybe some review process should be considered to remove the ban after a period of time so guys like me don't get kicked off the board for a mistake (as opposed to intentionally violating a Rule).

Personally i have no issue with rampage but then again i don't post nearly as much as i used to because i'm not an active hobbyist these days. I literally only see 1 girl that's been reviewed, then i dabble with brazilian strippers full time.

However i do agree the immediate ban is a bit much. But i know sometimes when he does it, he mentions a shill network. So something in this forum's system is detecting similarities between accounts and that's probably is what's triggering the bans.

How many mods are on this forum anyway?

The few times i do see any moderator action, it's from rampage.

I think we need a few more "active" moderators supervising the board and perhaps have a system to where if you slip up once, it's a 1 week ban. 2nd slip up, 1 month, then 3rd time you're gone forever. I don't think it's fair to just be banned forever the first time. And i say this because i always PM good dudes on this forum, then all of a sudden they disappear because they got banned.

This forum is still better than the rest that's for sure. Lots of knowledgeable members here.

Nope. Not kidding. And I’m happy to answer this question if you still need me to, unless you have a better understanding now. Let me know

So are you going to review those places that were banned and see if the ban is warranted or can we start reviewing those places again?
No Robert. I’m not.

Here’s what I’m gonna do instead.

No spa is banned, period. Not even a need to discuss. You can speak freely on whichever place you choose.

Also, nobody’s getting banned for liking a post. And nobody needs to worry about getting banned for accidentally saying something they shouldn’t. Ain’t gonna happen anymore

By the way Robert,

Do you see where I said “not even a need to discuss”

That DOES NOT mean you are not allowed to discuss it. You are free to discuss whatever you want. We can discuss it to your heart’s content, but I’m just not sure there’s a need, but I’m not gonna try and restrict you from discussing something you’d like to talk about on here beyond the typical common sense stuff that isn’t allowed on forums of this nature.

Generally speaking, it needs to be said the site is run well enough. Given what we post regarding “this thing of ours”, our expectations need to be realistic ok how its run. As long as the site functions, I’m fine as is.

Great to hear! Two questions: Is this policy site-wide? I see that Central NJ section still has banned review info up. For members that were mysteriously banned, can their old accounts be revived? Thank you for stepping in to handle things!
