Honestly this back and forth banter is the best conversation you'll find about the areas. It's basicly not worth the effort.
The few establishments around aren't as good as what you'll find in Manhattan or Flushing, both only 30-40 mins away via bus or subway. Don't bother with the Russians that advertise in RP/FH either. It's mostly just a bunch of older ladies long past their primes, or just homely looking. All of them overcharge because of the area. Better off going elsewhere.
