Erik Everhard, the pornstar at Ruby Skye in SF.

I was there to see Ferry Corsten. Was late blooming trance head and he was in town and I loved Ruby Skye, grabbed my gf and we rolled out.

I'm at the bar getting a drink and I was like, dude, this guy looks familiar. I use to work in a restaurants so you see folks everywhere—bartenders, servers, etc. I was like, "hey, did you use to work at the Cheesecake Factory?"

He laughs and says, "nono, think bigger."

Huh?

We bs for a few minutes and he finally sees that I don't get it, he pulls out HIS wikipedia page and I'm like OH SHIT.

Damn, respect man. What's up? What brings you to SF and Ruby Skye?

We hit the main room. He tipped the bartender generously btw. And chiseled.

We start talking music, I tell him I do some music production, he just grabs me by the shoulders and points to the DJ booth and says, "if was younger, I'd be doing that."

*writes that down furiously*

Didn't take a picture, was a bit overwhelmed and didn't want the gf to catch on who this was, she thought it was a restaurant coworker.

Damn, dude is now a performance anxiety coach lol — https://twitter.com/erik_everhard?lang=en

Everyone has some good stories. Here are mine.

Met Bon Jovi and Eddie Money while working as a roadie.

Met John Updike and shook Andy Rooney’s hand at a Giants game. (Grumpy bastard, lol).

Met briefly in Manhattan: John Turturro, Sam Waterston, Matt Dillon.

Natalie Gulbis at a golf pro-am (nice rack).

Ball players from many moons ago: Thurman Munson, Bucky Dent, Rick Cerone, Ron Guidry, Goose Gossage.
Met Shaq at NBA All-Star Weekend back in '98. He was wearing a full length mink coat and looked like a polar bear.

Met Jeter at a function when he was in his third year in the league. Really quiet dude.

Physically bumped into Alec Baldwin in Times Square. He was with a tall blonde.

Shook hands with every NYC mayor since Koch (except for Bloomberg)

Talked to Curtis Martin in an elevator in NJ

My topper is meeting Prince WAY back in the day after a show.

Floyd Patterson (I was a kid), Matthew McConaghey, saw Tony Bennett (with a young hottie) and Jerry Orbach in Midtown on the same day; in NJ there is a thing called Chiller Theatre where you can meet celebrities from all genres. Went twice. Saw lots of people, but didn't wait in line to get any signed 8x10s.
