On the bright side, it was all employees arrested and no clients.
Maybe there is an argument this is actually safer.
First, you are in a legitimate business. There is no problem with you being there. If you are caught in a hotel room or MP, “so what are you doing here” is going to be a tougher conversation.
Second, you can sit down, have a beer and scope the place out. That dancer letting guys stuff dollars into her bra isn’t LE. They won’t go that far.
She asks if you want a private dance and then in private, whatever happens happens.

Generally I deplore bringing race into situations where it doesn't belong, but I understand your sentiment, I think. I happen to be a poster-child for a while older overweight male stereotype, but I never felt uncomfortable there. I was only 2-3 times a month, but got to be recognized by the front-man and owner, enough to nod to them hello. I don't think you'll find a race-oriented vibe there, but it is in the hood. If you wouldn't be comfortable walking around the corner for lunch, then, yeah, it might be awkward for you- just try not to show it.
Just saw that old article on baby dolls. I remember a dancer telling me once, that while she had concerns about LE at other clubs, she wasn't concerned about baby dolls and thought it was pretty much untouchable. Guess not. It did operate for many many years, wonder what happened. I hope everyone is OK.

So I was on Johnny A’s Hitching Post website and saw they have the schedule for the dancers. The chick with the tooth is Mayara and she’s on the schedule lol. All my friends are married or have kids so no shot they come with me there. Hopefully one of you guys can go and confirm it’s her before I decide to make a trip haha.

Back in high school, we called these the “dirty three”. We were able to drink without getting IDed (we are talking early 1990’s). The bathroom at Guy’s Le Vie en Rose was so bad, you would stand outside and just pizz on the floor. Still remember picking up a girl at Moonlight and taking her to the Abe Lincoln.
