Does your car attract attention?

I’ve been wondering if others face this. I have an uncommon car. It’s not super flashy or painted bright orange or anything, but it’s a slightly customized car that a car enthusiast may take a 2nd look at. I always feel uncomfortable with certain parking lots of places, which I think quite a few spots in SNJ have pretty non-discrete parking.

Anyone else have this problem? Does it change up where you go or do you just say fuck it? I also wonder if it sometimes catches the eye of LE that might make it a point to notice a pattern of a distinct car.

This isn’t really paranoia since I take the fuck it route anyway, especially since I’m just enjoying a leisurely massage. Just curious on others’ takes.

I understand that and typically park away in a discrete location, not visible. the added benefit is out of the remote range should I be there in a raid and they are in a "confiscation" mood. rare but that kind of thinking may keep you off the news!

FYI…..A Handicap Placard hanging from the inside mirror..turns a lot of heads…. Away from the car itself. Being handicapped myself I notice positive outlook for the passengers. JMO..

Mine? No. But when I drive by one of my favorite places and wonder if my favorite provider is there I always know yes or no if I see her big Mercedes or BMW (she has one of each) SUV is in the front. Sometimes I have had no intention of getting a massage and I see her car and I say "I've got an hour to kill, what the hell".

I drive a very noticeable, one-of-a-kind vehicle. I have only taken it once to 465 and parked in the back. Other than that I try to make sure I am in my other vehicle.

My car isn't flashy or anything but it's newer and bright red. Lots of people have it but I have only seen one other with that color. I don't give a damn about strangers seeing it. But anyone in my family would immediately recognize it or at the very least say I spotted a car just like yours at such and such a place.

Luckily I've been driving the misses' car lately. Black and non descript.
